Overview

Advancing the Carbon Dioxide Removal Industry

The Carbon Dioxide Removal and Management (CDRM) Summit 2027 is hosted by the Arizona State University Center for Negative Carbon Emissions (CNCE). It brings researchers, industry, policymakers, and stakeholders together to move from demonstration to deployment and build the carbon dioxide removal industry — under four core pillars:

  • Science & Innovation : Next-generation Technologies and Pathways for CDR
  • Deployment & Infrastructure : Scaling Carbon Removal from Demonstration to Deployment
  • Economics, Policy & Society : Building Value and Trust in Carbon Removal
  • Technology Translation & Commercialization : Building and Scaling the CDR Ecosystem

Over two days, the program features keynote sessions, parallel breakout sessions, research result presentations, technology translation panels, and a dedicated poster session alongside networking opportunities. The Summit is co-located with the 4th International Atmospheric Water Harvesting (AWH) Summit at the Luxor Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

“

Bringing researchers, industry, policymakers, and stakeholders together to move from demonstration to deployment is essential to building the carbon dioxide removal industry at climate-relevant scale. Our convening focuses on rigorous science, scalable engineering, and the real-world deployment pathways needed to make durable carbon removal a reality.
